President FC: Football Club Owner

FAQ

Short answers to the questions we get most.

Is this a football management game like the ones I know?

You play the owner, not the manager. You choose the manager and he picks the team. Step in whenever you want — set the starting eleven, change the formation, make substitutions — but every intervention costs you some of his trust.

Where can I start?

Create your club in one of 43 nations (the world has 136) and begin in the lowest league.

How young does youth development start?

The academy takes players from the age of eight (the U9 group). You develop them, promote them, or sell them on.

Which languages are supported?

The interface ships in 30 languages. English and Thai are fully checked; the others are being reviewed by native speakers.

Does it run on Mac?

Yes — macOS 12 or later, alongside Windows 10 64-bit.

What are the system requirements?

About 4 GB RAM minimum, 8 GB recommended, 1 GB of storage. These are estimates and will be confirmed before sale.

Is there a playtest or a demo?

Limited playtest rounds run on Steam — request access on the Steam page. A demo has not been decided yet.

When is the release date, and what will it cost?

Coming soon. The date and the price will be announced together.

Will it be in Early Access?

Yes. The Early Access plan — why, for how long and what changes — is in the section below and on the Steam page.

Is there an editor or Steam Workshop support?

The editor is built in and free: reshape clubs, competitions and players before a career, then share edit packs as a zip. Steam Workshop is planned but not available yet.

Achievements and cloud saves?

Steam Achievements (100) and Steam Cloud are supported from launch.

Early Access plan

Why Early Access?

President FC is built around long careers and decisions that can take several seasons to pay off. Early Access will let players help shape the balance, clarity and long-term experience while development continues. Feedback from different clubs and play styles will help us see where the game needs more depth and where it needs to be easier to understand.

How long will Early Access last?

We have not set a fixed date for the end of Early Access. We want the schedule to reflect what we learn from playtesting and player feedback, particularly over longer careers. We will share development progress and updates to our plans through Steam announcements.

How is the full version planned to differ?

We plan to expand the long-term club and player experience, improve balance and usability, and make sharing edit packs easier. Steam Workshop support is planned but is not currently available. Player feedback will help guide the scope and priorities of these improvements as development continues.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The current development build includes club creation, league and cup seasons, transfers and contracts, youth academies and overseas camps, affiliate clubs, club finances, managers, stadium development and a built-in pre-game editor. You can continue a career across multiple seasons. Balance, usability and localization are still being refined, and bugs or changes to systems should be expected during development.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We currently plan for the price to increase at full release as the game develops. We will announce any pricing changes in advance.

How are you planning on involving the community?

We will use Steam discussions to gather feedback and bug reports, and Steam announcements to share progress and explain changes. Reports from careers you have played will help us understand the effects of transfers, finances and youth development over time. When a save file would help us investigate a problem, we will ask the player to share it voluntarily.
