Competitions
The game and this guide are still in development. Details may change, and your feedback is welcome.
02 Leagues, promotion and the drop
- The pyramid runs up to six tiers deep (England) — other nations are shallower, as in real life — with promotion, relegation and play-offs
- the coloured zones on the table are the fate lines — point at them to read which is which
- the fate letters on the history page: C champions
- P promoted
- PO via the play-offs
- R relegated
- finish higher and the season-end money grows with the league
03 Domestic cups
- Every cup follows its country's real rules — our league tier decides which round we enter
- some lower-league cups open with groups before the knockout
- winning brings money, history and the fans' hearts
04 Europe and the world stage
- The three European cups run a 36-team single-table league phase — the top ranks go straight to the deep rounds, the rest play off
- each nation's quota comes from its coefficient points
- and the Club World Finals arrives every four years — all reachable from the competition picker
05 International breaks
- During breaks the top leagues rest while the lower ones play on — check the calendar before planning
- called-up players leave for duty and return tired, sometimes hurt
- a cap is an honour that lifts both his spirit and his price
06 Yellow cards and bans, per competition
- Bookings and bans are counted separately in every competition League = one-match ban at 5 yellows Cups = at 2 Europe = at 3 National team = at 2 Serve the ban and the count resets
- a league ban never touches a cup tie (and vice versa)
- a red card = an immediate ban in that competition
- the «1 to ban» badge in the squad table flags who is one booking away
07 The stats hub
- Combined stats for every competition we play — scorers, assists, clean sheets, ratings, man of the match
- pick any league or past season
- every name clicks through to a profile
