01 Hiring, sacking, poaching
- Sacking pays out half the remaining deal
- poaching an employed manager pays his club the lot
- one far above our level won't take the call
- and the chair must be empty before a new table can open

The manager
The game and this guide are still in development. Details may change, and your feedback is welcome.
02 Manager happiness
- Meddling with his lineup wears him down — back-to-back orders cut deepest
- calm months, trophies and promotion rebuild him
- run him empty and he will not sit at our renewal table again
03 Manager traits
- Managers carry traits like players — youth believers, rotation masters, one-shape purists, all of it shows in real selections
- pick the one whose habits fit the club's philosophy, it matters as much as his rating
04 Empty dugouts and caretakers
- Sack the manager and a caretaker minds the team — competent, never as good as the real thing, and the longer the chair sits empty the lower the mood sinks
- know your next man before you swing the axe
