The fee negotiation table
Screen guide
Screenshot coming with the next media round.
The fee negotiation table — you and the selling club discuss one thing: the price. Agree on it and you move on to contract talks with the player. This is a real negotiation, with etiquette and a limit to the other side's patience.
Left — the player card and the owning club: their stance line says how they view this deal, and the patience bar shows how many more bids they'll entertain; red means nearly done · Right — our finance card, their current asking price in big gold, the bid field (click the number to type it), and a line showing what's left if we pay
Bid what they'll accept and it's done on the spot, straight to contract talks · Bid low and they counter, inching toward you — but every bid costs one notch of patience · The "closing price" button makes them name the number that seals it — but that number is final: pay it or walk away, no more haggling
The walk-away button here is not closing a window — leave the table and that club won't take our calls for a good while; the only free exit is the summary screen before the table · Lowballing a big club's key man can get you thrown out at the first word · Agreeing the fee doesn't land the player — contract talks and his few days of thinking still follow, and no money leaves until it all closes
