- sponsors (deals expire and need re-signing)
- merchandise with reputation
- position and cup prize money
- and player sales — ticket prices aren't ours to set: they track the league tier (fewer clubs = a little more per match so the season's gate evens out
- cup and European nights use the base price), so our real lever is a bigger ground
