• Check in order: injured (return date on Squad) → suspended → low fitness, usually rested → form or the manager's own beliefs
• The standing-order picker — point at anyone in the whole club (youth included) and the manager obeys: start every match, come on late, or rest next game. These orders are free and never strain the relationship.
• The matchday override room — normally the manager picks the team, but here you set tonight's eleven yourself, and the bench is filled in to suit your picks. It only opens on a matchday, before kickoff.
